Recent Developments in Admissions

Hi Readers!

In light of recent events in college admissions, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you...

My word and ethics are at the core of everything that I do.  As most of you know I belong to several professional organizations where I am bound by a code of ethics.  If you're interested in the details, I'm including links below:

Higher Education Counselors Association

https://hecaonline.org/resources/Documents/HECA%20S_E%20Statement%20_Approved%201017v2.pdf

National Association of College Admissions Counselors (Pay particular attention to page 3.) https://www.nacacnet.org/globalassets/documents/advocacy-and-ethics/statement-of-principles-of-good-practice/nacacs-code-of-ethics--professional-practices.pdf Most importantly, I intend to continue providing services that are honest and respectful of the needs of each of your students.  Most of you have heard me say, that every student is different, every families journey is different and there are more than enough wonderful colleges that can provide opportunities for your students to excel, learn, and prepare for their lives to come. With that thought, I am including a link to an article from the Chicago Tribune that illustrates my thoughts.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns please contact me! Now let's move on.
